fashion ... poolside

we spent a lot of time at the pool when we were in palm springs for memorial day weekend.  my friend tita has the best hair for buns and i'm secretly jealous that my hair will never look that good up.

it's amazing how chic you can look with a black bikini and a bun - and, apparently a matching black book.

i, on the other hand, was obsessed with this new bikini i bought at target.  the cobalt blue top with the sailboat pendant was my favorite part. i'm also a sucker for a sweetheart neckline.
