i have to give props to my friend sandra for proactively making several dinner reservations for us the minute i called her and said we would be in new york.  hands down, my favorite was commerce in the west village.  i should mention that jeff was actually here this evening, he was just busy taking pictures.

{we each started with a fried oyster}

{we shared the roasted sweet potato tortelloni with hazelnuts, pomegranate & beurre noisett}

{then we all went with steak diane}

{a personal favorite of sandra's}

{i was so glad i wouldn't have plate envy}

{we ended the evening with some cake for a very belated birthday}
